In Loving Memory Of William And Gerald Mcinarnay
Jax Plumbing & Septic Tank, Inc. would like to dedicate this website to William and Gerald McInarnay. William founded the company in 1955, and his son Gerald served the company alongside his brother Michael with integrity and honor from the time the two took over. Jax Plumbing & Septic Tank, Inc. would like to honor and thank both William and Gerald for all their hard work and all they have done for our family, our company, and our customers.
William F. Mcinarnay, Sr.
William McInarnay, known as “Papa” to his large and loving family, lived his entire life in Jacksonville, FL. He passed away at age 90 on March 25, 2013. He was a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church and served in the US Army in the Pacific during WWII, where he was awarded the Silver Star, Purple Heart, and numerous other citations. He held memberships with the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was a founder and charter member of FOWA, a statewide organization representing the septic industry. William established Jax Plumbing and Septic Co. early in his career, and his two sons Gerald and Michael took over the business upon his retirement. Jax Plumbing & Septic Tank, Inc. would not be what it is today without William’s help and passion, and for that we thank him and honor him here today.
Gerald C. (Jerry) Mcinarnay
Jerry was a master plumber, former instructor for the FSCJ plumbing apprenticeship program and co-owner and vice president of Jax Plumbing & Septic Tank, Inc. He passed away on August 11, 2016 at age 63. Jerry was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. His infectious smile and kind heart are what his family and friends and everyone at Jax Plumbing & Septic Tank, Inc. remember him for.
For years, he was a fixture in the community and a friendly face of the company, and for this we would like to thank him and honor him.
Gerald McInarnay also worked in the Jacksonville community, serving customers for more than 40 years. As he was the co-owner of our company before his passing, we would like to honor him and thank him for his work and dedication.
